I've used 1and1 for about 3 years and have never had a problem... until 3 days ago.

My shared hosting website goes down. It appears to be a hardware issue since I can't even ping the IP address it just times out.

I can't access anything via ftp ssh or through 1and1's admin pages.

It has been 3 days and counting and the most I get from tech support is "we have passed your issue onto our admin tech team".

So I have no idea when it will be up and my business and other websites are down and I can't even put up a temporary forward or redirect.

So now I'm in the middle of switching to a different host as I have no idea if 1and1 will ever fix my website.

So beware you could end up in my shoes. You see their true colors when something messes up. And 1and1 failed me big time.
